Creative Essay Topics

My first topic of choice is Disney. I grew up watching all of the Disney Princess movies and still find myself watching them when they are on T.V. This love of Disney movies is why I would like to write a paper on the effects that these movies have on children. It is said that there is subliminal messaging, self-esteem effects, and also effects on the feminist society.

My Second topic would be an informational essay on RSDS. This stand for Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy syndrome, which is a disease of the nervous system that causes burning pain and inflammation of the effected areas. I want to write about this because my grandma suffers from this disease, and although there are therapuetic remedies, there is no cure.

Lastly, my third topic is how childhood abuse leads to psychological disorders in adults. I have always been interested in the human brain and how certain situations effect a person in the long run. As a child I was abused so this topic is one that is close to my heart. This paper would discuss how certain types of abuse lead to depression, anxiety, and possibly child abusive behavior when they become an adult.
