Summary: This page has all of the rules and laws of Ohio's Adoption policy. It goes over the steps and necessary proceedures one has to take in order to adopt a child. It also covers what types of people are able to adopt. There is a physical, mental, and health evaluation that is taken into account before placing a child in the home. There is also a necessary home check needed. Another aspect of adoption is the criminal background check. This is required of anyone who has lived out of the state within a five year time frame of the adotion process.
Explaination: I plan on using this page to decribe the process that I went through when I was being adopted. I have already written out the process with no actual facts to support the steps I am describing. I think that incorporating the law will help the reader understand the narrative, or my narrative with help explain the laws.
